I believe I have mentioned this on BF before but just in case. You also want to pay attention to what the child’s initials will be.
My first born almost ended up with the intitials CDC. We changed the spelling of his first name so his initials are actually KDC.
Second born we forgot to pay attention. We had come up with a first name we agreed on and decided his middle name would be my first name. Never looked at the initials. Fast forward a few years to him playing soccer and me on the sidelines yelling, “Run DMC!”

Yup. Really tried to get one over on the wife by ensuring my son’s middle initial was S … that would have made his full initials ASS!!!

Sadly (or better off for him) she won.

Valerie Jo is what I wanted to name Abigail. nice strong name. Nathan wanted Sarah or Karen. We compromised on Abigail. I am really glad we didn't go with Karen...lol

Ha, just woke to this. Thanks everyone. Surprised with how much more I like some of these opposed to what my woman keeps suggesting. The longer this keeps on the more Im liking simple names such as Evil Genius recommended. For whatever reason I cant get the name Annesa (Vanessa w/out the V) out of my head. Annesa Esmond has a nice ring to me. Woman aint having it though. Keep em coming,,If we choose yours Ill send you a free CPK

Sounds like you know it’s a girl, congrats again ! Girls are great for the dad .... my two are called Daphne and Desiree.

Other than that, I have no suggestions, kind of glad it’s not my problem

On second note, in Nathan’s honor, you could call her Magenta

My 3rd child is a boy. The deal was if it's a boy she gets her tubes tied. If it's a girl we try one more time. Thank God it was a boy. We still hadnt agreed 100% on the name. While the wife was still doped up from the tubal I filled.out the birth certificate. Benjamin Marshall. She wasn't super happy but got over it.
