Dervish Knives Yataghan

This is a collaboration knife between Dervish and Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works. It's a modern representation of the Greek kopis. These are just some quick pictures.It's 1/4" 5160 steel, the blade is about 15", OAL is 23" and it weighs 2lbs 8oz.

My impression:

It's sort-of a 24th century Kopis.

It's futuristic, but it looks very serviceable and efficient.



Man oh man I likes them forward-curved choppers from the old days.

I like the overall lines and proportions, good flow. I'd love to give it a go and see how it handles. Nicely done!
