Describe your "perfect" knife...

My idea of the optimal design for what I want in a blade:
(Still havn't found it but I know what I haven'f found yet.)

3 1/2 inch drop point folder
154 CM steel (VG10 would be OK. No S30V. )
Plain edge
lockback
no choil
Back set up for resting a thumb on it.
thumb studs
dual SS liners (Ti acceptable)
FRN or G10 handle. G10 would be nice, but I'd take solid FRN with liners.
American made would be a major plus (OK so that limits the steel to 154CM.)
Steel pocket clip set for deep carry so the blade doesn't show. I like Tip up, would accept tip down.
No assisted open. (lockback req should eliminate this, but I want to make sure.)
No recurve on the blade. (Drop point req should eliminate that too. Just makin' sure.)
Good balance in my hand. Not too bulky to carry in the pocket.

Folder: 5" waved and assisted opening Spyderco Chinook IV (modified Chinook III) with a CPM M-4 blade, compression lock, Handle – skeletonized SS locking scale and carbon fiber non-locking scale.

Fixed: 12" Busse Battle Mistress.

Here's my sheeple-friendly personal design idea. It's pretty ban-proof, and I gave it an extra-long grip:

4"-handled folder w/silver finish or slim wood handles...osage orange maybe? This would be a slipjoint, with a MANUAL blade lock (the blade would not lock in the open position unless it was manually locked after being opened). Extra points if the blade lock is removable.

Pocket clip & lanyard hole, plus a deployable belt clip like the new Leatherman folders (hey, there's a lot of room in the handle).

1.5" carbon steel flat-grind cutting-edge with .5" choil for a total 2" blade. The choil, if properly gripped, would assist in preventing the knife from closing similar to the Spyderco Pride-design style.

Removable thumbstud AND traditional slipjoint half-moon cutout ahead of it.

This knife could be carried almost anywhere, in many ways, with lots of carry options.
Heck, if somebody could conceivably make all or most of these features in a custom knife, let's talk. Shoot me an email.
