I routinely carry two knives. One is a mid-size SUK (sport utility knife, aka 'tactical' folder). The other is a 'sheeple' knife, for use when potentially squeamish folks are present. Normally mine is a William Henry model.
Three examples of great sheeple folders: a) RJ Martin's recent 'Zing', a flipper folder with orange handles and 'striated' blade; These folders look like they could be some exotic woodshop tool, or maybe something intended for use by an EMT. b) the SOG Rainbow Twitch or Kershaw Rainbow Chive. c) Virtually anything by William Henry Knives.
What is your perfect sheeple folder? It can be a knife that is real or imagined. To me, the goal would be to have a knife that is very functional, but doesn't evoke fear. Generally speaking, there is a trade-off: more function=more fear. Perhaps some genius out there can think of a knife that circumvents the trade-off.
