desert jack

someone wanted to trade me it for new new war boar, but id like to make sure i could sell it and make my $$$ back if I dont like it...
its either the desert jack or a game warden Le but i all rey have one....
 
There is a Desert Jack for sale in the B/S/T, if you want to see what they are fetching. ;) The WB's are currently going for over $300-ish, IIRC..
 
I've seen the WB's going for $235 - $250. Someone had a black/black paper WB the other day for something like $230. It should still be in the sale forum.

The Desert Jack, new, should fetch $225 - $275, I would think. They are a REALLY sweet blade. VERY comparable to the Dog Skinner in the grip arena but with a longer SR101 blade. ;)

What to do? The Desert Jack was released to the Swampies as a limited edition military overrun. The War Boars should arrive at the Busse Co Store shortly and will be available at retail.

I messed up and owe an apology.

Caveat: My normal week is M-F, 8:30 to 5p but this week has been crazy. 42 hours starting Sunday afternoon and ending at midnight last night. ;-)

Daniel and I were discussing a trade for a couple of items and, in my original email I mentioned several things that I *might* consider trading. One of those was a Desert Jack. We continued talking about a different blade for the last couple of days and I had backed out on the possibility of trading the other blade in question. He mentioned another taker that he was talking to about his blade.

When I saw the DJ thread, I assumed that was what the other trader offered and I offered the above advice. I had forgotten I had ever mentioned my DJ as a possibility.

It wasn't until I got another email from Daniel that I recalled. To answer this thread with positive value points about the DJ was, while the result of a memory lapse, an unethical thing to do.

Sorry, it was unintentional. :o I was trying to be helpful but lack of sleep made me forgetful.

This is not what you will want to hear, but do whatever you think will make you happiest, however you define that word. Think very carefully about your choice if you can only have one or the other and understand that you may make a mistake, but big deal -- we're human. Your ideal is also probably different than mine -- I know for a fact that Schuey2002 is a Farrah Fawcett kind of guy. Me? I'm a Jaclyn Smith kind of guy. You? Probably too young to know either, but that's cool. Elisha Cuthbert is pretty hot too.
