Swamp Rat Rodent 5 Bladeshow 2013 edition with two sheaths
Tan micarta handle, 5.5" desert sage blade. This blade is .205" thick. Standard R-5's are .1875" thick. Robust for its size with great balance and feel. The blade has been sharpened to mirror shaving sharp edge. Although slight finish wear from sheathing, this blade has never been used to cut anything but paper. The only cosmetic blemish as you may see in the picture is a hairline removal of the coating along the finger choil on both sides. They are hardly noticeable. In the picture I had to use flash to light them up. The knife is in excellent condition.
The taco sheath is desert sage Kydex. The second sheath is coyote brown, Holstex carbon fiber pattern. Both come with belt loop attachments that are removable. The belt loop for the Holstex sheath is not shown in picture as I use this sheath for storage. The belt loops do have a couple of slightly off center rivets that are purely cosmetic and not visible when worn. Overall quality of the sheaths are good.
