It`s that time of year for my annual "Design A Knife Contest." This year the knife style will be an EDC size knife. The parameters are no longer than 7", no taller than 1 1/4", and no thicker than 1/8". Post your designs in this thread starting now, and ending on April 30th. After that the voting will start, and go to May 15th, at which time a winner will be chosen.
Then winner will have a choice of either a K Tool or $35 off the price of the knife if he decides to order one. I reserve the rights to any design posted, and the winner will be required to send me a cardboard pattern of the design.

Here is a design Ive liked for a while. an all around camp/ work knife. I call it the the " CK" Campers Knife. or the " Base Blade" not sure yet. Im a simple guy with a simple knife LOL.
Length 7 inches
Blade height- tallest 1 1/16 inch
Handel at its widest just a little more than 3/4 inches high
3/32 thick
Thumb notches
Lanyard hole

Here is my other one which Ive been working on since the last contest. I call it the " Blue Collar" the everyday, everything, anybodys knife. Nothing fancy as far as design goes but great size for everyday life. Just short of the 7 inch mark

This is a Necker design I've thought about. I tried to stay in tune with John's blade style. I've added a small curve on top instead of jimping for the thumb. The handle is something I think will be comfortable to hold. As soon as I get a minute I'm going to attempt to make a hand model to see how it feels.

I do a lot of work in Photoshop so I thought I'd give it a try for this instead of a drawing...:)

Most of my outdoor activities take place in the Poconos in PA, and the stream I flyfish on there is the Bushkill.
