great profile on this one

Here is my entry. It will be fun to see each person's interpretation of the same concept.

From one of my customers, TB. Because of his email address, he can`t join BF, so I am posting these for him.

Hi all, here is a revision to the fixed blade sheepsfoot I posted, the Handyman: a friction folder with a small 1/8" flathead screwdriver. I'm planning to use it as a neck knife both around town and when camping/backpacking.

I think you are going to want to rethink the position of the stop pin so that it can stop the blade when closing to protect the edge.

Thanks, John said he will tweak the closure if he needs to to keep the edge from getting worn.

I remembered this today and thought I better do this before I forget. Since Johns allowing more than one design this year I went a little wild drawing up a few. (Updated) After doing cutouts today- settled on these.

The one here is 1 1/4" tall, 7" oal, 3" blade, 4" handle, it fills the hand nicely.

This one is kind of a Ky Fieldmate version 2. Stretched a little in the blade and handle, with the index finger groove removed. The blade is close to 1" tall, 3" blade, 3 3/4" handle.

Last one, 6 1/4" oal, 3 3/4" handle, 2 1/2" blade, 3/4" tall

If I may be so bold as to throw my hat in the ring...

7 inches long and 3/4in at the widest point.
Please pardon the fancy drawing paper.:) If it wins or if someone wants one like it, I can certainly improve the drawing.

Looks a lot like an old Imperial I had in the 70`s!

Quite similar. I just bought one of those and absolutely love it. I can just imagine one like it with your O1 and a nice Ebony handle.

The wharnie with dimensions and the scalpel with dimensions have been on my pad for over a year. Leave it to me to submit it on the last possible day of the contest.

Really like that second one down. Would like to have a spear point fixed blade like that with removable scales.

The top two are 7" oal. The second one is the full 1 1/4" in height. The top one I drew with a saber grind but I'm thinking it might look good with a top swedge. I know thumb ramps aren't for everyone.

The bottom two are 6 7/8" oal. The second from the bottom has a Ky Fieldmate influenced blade and rear portion of the handle. It is roughly 7/8" tall, while the bottom design is 1" tall.

All of them have a roughly 3" blade & 3 3/4"-4" handle. (Each square is 1/4", if that helps with scale)
