I think the plunge is going to give you issues. I’d stick with basic plunges and handle shaping until you get better at grinding, then you can add your own style later.

Ya, as i was holding it against the platen, i started thinking the same thing

You can grind straight plunge line first and next with file jig you can easy make that diagonal plunge line ............ or make some correction like this ?

So go with a full flat grind then?
