I am glad that ALLHSS put that in. That is essentially what I would have suggested but with a 4 1/2" handle and 6 1/2" blade, raise the tip a bit and add more belly to get the tip in line with your first knuckle to aid in piercing and fine tip control.
It would fit my hand nicely, and add some length for better performance for breaking down of wood while allowing me to get my whole hand on the blade and rest the butt of the handle in my elbow/on my forearm for cleaning a multitude of game sizes.

I wasn't going to submit since I am not in the market for a larger knife atm, and though I would Love to fulfill this idea of mine, someone else should get the opportunity instead of it being squandered on myself.
