I would be interested as well. I would like to suggest including a list of all the suppliers of materials broken down by category. I have been too lazy to generate one and using the search function on the forums is growing old.

Regards,
Glenn

Count me in. I'm ready to try my hand on a folder or two, been a fixed blade maker for a good while.

I would be interested also. That Would give me a lot of help for my 5 abs journeyman knives.I passed my performance test July 3 and am in the process of making them now. It is hot as hhhhh in central Ga.

I would be very interested in this as well,as I am just starting to make up some new folder designs and converting some of my old folder design to the liner locking style folders.

thanks,

Tom Iwould be interested in subscribing
to your project.
Keep me posted on the whens and wheres.

Sounds like a great Idea Tom. I have been a machinist-tool maker for 20+ years and machine lots of tricky stuff! I have been making folders for about 5 years. I would be
glad to help with any machining information.

Count me in to Tom, I await your further direction.

As far as a scanner goes I have a Visioneer Paperport 6100b. I have had it about 6 months and have scanned tons of stuff and never had a problem. I saw our local Office Depot had this model on sale for $59.99 after rebates just last week. Worth a look.

A scanner doesn't have to be expensive to be good.I paid about 50$ for mine and it works just fine. It's a MUSTEK 600 II N.
The hole idea sounds good - I'm in.
