This specific regulator is a absolutely devastating weapon... I picked this up in the week. Even though im not gonna keep it I can tell you that I have not seen nor felt a better weapon then this ever. I carried a regulator for about 2 years concealed but this Urban Regulator honestly is unreal and scary in a good way.

What makes this Regulator better than past Regulators you've used and carried?

I've seen old posts where you've had urban Regulators before, so I'm curious why this specific one is so much better.

I carried the parkerized regulator.... very different. This one has a very accute tip and it's thicker spine with more weight makes for deadly thrusting capabilities.

Anton,
That's a great looking blade. How thick is the spine? I think this just jumped to the top of my search and buy list...

I've got a parkerized and the military regulator and I believe the only reason they have minor thickness differences (.020) is because of the coating adding the extra thickness on the military reg. The underlying steel is made from the same stock thickness of 5/16". Parked is definitely lighter like you say!

But yeah, the parked one is quite different with that deep hollow grind which is why I love it so much, because it's so thin at the tip and edge. Waaay thinner than the mil reg so it'll cut and penetrate way better. No doubt the mil reg is more robust though being so thick behind the edge. But unless you're breaching concrete walls, I'd imagine either is up to all kinds of insane abuse.

Are you saying this urban reg tip is thinner than a parked reg? I find that hard to imagine unless you're saying it's a factor of how it's obviously sharpened as then you can make it as thin as you want.

Either way, this thing looks great! I'd love get an all gray one like that. Looks awesome!

I don't have the park regulator anymore... It could be from the sharpening but something is definitely different.
