The link finally links.

Just put it up in case anybody knows enough about what he's talking of to make sense.

( Me, I just look at my own religion and ask if the whole point of the Reformation movement was to focus the leaders of both sides on their "holy war".

( Apparently they were so busy fighting each other they didn't have the time to watch the monasteries from which various practical disciplines gushed forth during the big bruhaha until it was too late and the disciplines were too entrenched to eradicate.

( Maybe so, maybe no, but to me it sounds suspiciously like the way God got around other obstacles humans placed in his path in the past. I repeat, this is just suspicion. Or should that be Auspicious? )

Ever since I caught the hospital cooking the books I've been in a much better mood.

Thinking on making me up a new medicine bag if I can stretch and tan to a big enough size the parts the lawyer will remove from the doc and male nurse. Somehow the idea of beading the bag with lots and lots of fine beads appeals to me.

Peace, hope, and love, ( once I finish the upcoming project ) and goodwill to men. ( Of course technically after the lawyer gets done they won't be men anymore ) Rusty

In deference to Uncle's diminished presence over the next three days, I'd like to point out that any proceedures will utilize only the finest most effective, highly refined opiates. Striving to be a kinder, gentler, forum, Rusty

Maybe I can superglue the bear jerky into the air ducts at you know where. Now THAT would be biological warfare. While I'm at it use the goat jerky in the Admin offices.

Actually I found out today that to have the pin he left in removed was going to take another trip to a hospital o. r.

I believe I can convince the surgeon ( who has privileges at both places ) that discretion ( i.e. doing it at Washoe Med. rather that Satan's Madre ) should prevail in this instance.

I hear Washoe Med is worse, Rusty, and you know your way around St. Marys now. And Washoe Med may want to do another angiogram on you! St. Marys still has your old one on file so probably won't do another. Better think it over.

Excuse the delay in responding, Uncle. I'm still trying to find a place that will give me a CCW class and range test before Saturday.

Besides, with all the metal in my leg now, they aren't going to pick up on an extra 14" of steel.

:
Seeking desperate measures!!!!
Bro ignore the CCW and slip in your piece in your overnight bag or amongst your groceries that one must take to the horsepizzels to keep from starving to death.:D
Hospitals, horsepizzels, ghorapani all the same, ainit?:(

Rusty,
when packing your bags dont forget your stiletto, aslo know as your "burnishing tool".

I am looking for a file blem myself for a "burnishing tool" of my own. :D :D :D

Now that I have money again, handles for my file, the Fairbairn-Sykes, and the modified grip Alley Cat take precedence over the swords, just til after the operation.

Also, a new cane or two.

I can handle the cane with the 1 1/2 pound (estimated)brass knob ( that just takes reinforcement with a steel bolt and epoxy ). It's fitting the 3" long by 2" diameter agate egg to the handle and wrapping it with rawhide that I need help with. Suggestions Yvsa???

And you might be surprised what the law actually says under section 350:

Nah, forget it, all that stuff can stay home. All I really need is some pepper spray and a couple of pairs of good heavy duty vise-grips with their release lever cut off and superglued in the locked position.

Every day in every way things are just getting better and better! As always peace and goodwill to men.

Although they may seem esoteric, apparently smooth triangular files are know as deburring tools or flies. You can try asking for them at the larger hardware stores under that name.

I'd actually like to get a few flat/half round ones to stone down and use as a polisher.

Didn't I mention that in the other thread? Often called a machinist's scraper -- very useful tool but seldom seen in stores because people who know enough to want one usually prefer to make it themselves (and always have an old file around to make it from).
