Devil Dog - Butch Hanby - $180

The Devil Dog is a sharp little knife with a slight trailing point and good thumb notches. It would make a great hunting knife. I have it categorized as a tactical knife because Butch told me that several were carried by President Bush's Secret Service Presidential Protection Team. And who am I to argue with professionals?

The razor sharp blade is 3 1/2 x 3/4 and is made of 440-c stainless surgical steel. The blade’s slight trailing point and thumb notches makes it very good for slashing and stabbing. The handle is polished black paper Micarta.

The sheath is hand crafted using buffalo hide from Butch Hanby’s Buffalo Ranch, Osage Ranch. The hides are formed and hardened using Native American techniques that Butch learned from his Cherokee elders. The sheath is finished with solid brass rivets.
