This one is going to be on the pack of our fine USMC "Devil Dogs". Forged from some of Aldos 1095 "FG", the blade on this one is 12" x 3", 18.5" overall.

Differential heat treat using clay, with a scotchbrite finish/light etch to show the hamon a bit. Still have a bit of clean up/grooving on the handle to do, and my apologies for the overexposed/highly contrasted pics, looks better in person.

Oh yeah the front end is sharp and point too...

Thanks guys, this one was an order, I have a few older orders to catch up before I take on new ones, but the price ranges from $500- up pending size, materials, finish etc......

glade tho that im not the marine thats toting it (tho i guess i could have kept one in my hummer)

i liek it but it would be a bit heavy for me to take humping
 
butcher- its going to be on his "pack" over the shoulder, not carried on a belt, more for "special" occasions!

Dear God man! I am trying to save some damn money right now! That is awesome, seriously I will have one of those one day.
 
I would have LOVED to have had that when the turkey came out of the fryer last Thursday...., but it should work on a Christmas goose, as well!!!:D

This one's mine. :D Can't lay claim to the devil dog title tho Matt, Don't make the jarheads come and kick my a$$! :cool: I did my 8 in the Army and have been a dirty rotten contractor ever since.


Anyway, once it gets here I won't have to walk around feeling quite so unarmed any more. This COB has too damned many hadjis on it, and being one of the only Americans WITHOUT a gun sucks the big one. I figure this thing's gonna be my Crocodile Dundee piece.

Yeah, it's a Rambo knife, but its gonna have a long career as a machete when I get home too.
