Sign me up for a seat at that fire! What a night that would be lol
Very nice DandyLion! And that's a great idea about rubbing bees wax on the jute twine........ will have to try that idea, thanks.
What kind of Earl Grey tea is that? Seems a couple pics are not working?
I started drinking some cinnamon tea my wife gets from her work, they sell it there, it is so good. They have an Earl Grey I have been wanting to try too.
Thanks, the jute and wax tinder is really effective and is rather moisture resistant (NOT WATERPROOF), The tea I was drinking id some poorer quality tea because I'm fresh out of my good tea!
I drink a very strong and sweet cinnamon tea that is my favorite for a cold day in the field, its packed of fantastic vitamins and nutrients so is refresing in both taste and chemically, however when I'm drinking for flavor I go Earl Grey every time. Caffeine has a strong opposite effect on me (calms me down a lot, one time I drank an Nos energy drink and slept for 16 hours!) so I like to drink it in the evening.
i just recently was on a trip with my scout troop and was in charge of the fire, here are some pictures, and sorry in advance for lack thereof
This isnt a entry because it doesnt include a Becker, but thought some of you might enjoy this. This is my son on a fire starting project we did last year, hes got it down pat now, and does it on his own anytime we have a fire in the backyard.
