... displaying all of the knives he had on him at the Atlanta BLADE Show. It took four people plus Dexter himself to show these off. (I'm also not convinced that these were the only ones he had on him at that moment. I think he was holding out on us.

Let's see... I see a new large Apogee, two Starmates, a William Henry T12, a Microtech Kestrel, the new BladeForums REKAT Carnivour, an Axis lock, a SOCOM, a Police model, and the ever-present Military.

Dex easily doubled his body weight at the show! He was a great sport in posing for this pic. LOL

Guess this is as good a time as any to reveal to the world that Dex's REAL name is "Will Rogers" since he never met a knife he didn't like.

Great getting to abuse you in person this time Dex. Let's do it again soon.

Dexter,

What's this I hear about you being worried about falling into a swimming pool and not being able to make the surface with all the steel you were carrying? The "black hat man" sez that he told you you needn't be worried as you'd have hands all over you relieving you of all that steel long before you started to sink

Hey Dex!
How come you're always wearing that Will Fennell hat?

Doing some free advertising for EDI?

Dexter:
Do you normally carry that much hardware on you? If so, I'll stop feeling guilty for occasionally adding a fourth knife to my usual 3-a-day carry!

Thanks for all your help,Dexter.you had great suggestions about which knives to look at.I thought I was walking around with a lot of knives there, but compared to the picture above it was just a " Dexter starter-set".
Wish I would have stayed longer, but much more impulse buying would have caused me to have to sell the house. With the S.E. show coming up in september I may have to start looking for a smaller place
Thanks again.

Greg - I stopped by Camillus and visited with Will's father (Wallace Fennell), and he asked me what I was doing with a hat with his initials on it

The "WF" is for my alma mater and employer, Wake Forest University.

JamesY - nah, my daily carry knives are limited to two folders, sometimes adding a third by way of neck carry. I decided to pull out all the stops for this special occasion!

David - your welcome for the suggestions. Hope you'll get those knives someday (though not all at once!) Looking forward to catching up with you at the next Charlotte show as well as the SE Custom Show.

Hey guys, Dexter told me in confidence on Friday night that he was worried about falling into the swimming pool and sinking and drowning, I assured Dexter that he would very quickly be stripped of the knives that were waiting him down and that he would bob to the surface like a cork, sans knives, which would be payment to whoever got them for saving his life! he he he
