I used to trap beaver and had several tools of the trade. One was a Dexter beaver skinner.
They can be purchased at fur houses across the country. This dealer was always at our local rendezvous, so I bought mine from him.
M & M Furs
M & M currently sells it for $10.75; it is listed as the Green River 1674 Round Point Beaver knife.
You can probably see where this is going, so I'll jump to the end. Another amateur Nessmuk, made with a chop saw and grindstone.
The blade is just shy of 4" long, the handle is unaltered and is ~4 5/8".
I love what the professional knifemakers are doing with this style knife & hope to have one soon, but I scratched the itch for a few bucks.
