I am looking with much longing at the "new" model 36 Military but would much prefer a proper left handed version.

Do you know if Spyderco are thinking about more left handed versions of their knives , the military in particular?

Obviously, its an anyone question but I put Dexter as he usually has all the Spyderco info.

Hello bagman,

I have your answer, but I don't think it's the one you want to hear

There are no plans to make the C36 Military in a left handed version. But, the knife is very easy to operate left handed the way it is right now, thanks to the oversized blade hole and the oversized lock release cut-out. Next time you get to check out the C36, try it left handed and see how that feels. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the rapid reply Dexter, I have used right handed spydie's left handed for years now but have been spoiled recently with a AFCK 800SL and my new Genesis.

I was just hoping that they may become more leftie friendly what with the new models with revesible clips.
