Dexter's Kill Bag & Tools **Teenager** By Dark Passenger

Maybe I should just leave it where it is. I mean, if this is the encouragement I get to look kindly on your happy hobby, forget it.
Hey, you are the moderator. You can delete any post you want to, but generally you are only supposed stop the breaking of the rules. Either way, this post does not belong in General.

Dark Passenger, welcome to the forum. There is a Prac Tac room here that may be intrested in dexters's Kill Bag's and Tools.
I don't go there, but think it might fit better over there. Good luck.

Thanks, but I am almost afraid to post it again. :p

Where should I have posted it?

Is it possible to have my original thread moved there?

Something to keep in mind is that not all of us watch the idiot box and know what all these shows are, so when a thread pops up about kill tools and shows a dismemberment collection Esav (and others including myself) may not know what the heck it's supposed to be about. That's why it was moved. Apparently the show is about a serial killer, so on that info I don't think the thread belongs here anyway as it reflects poorly on the community. Props or not. Maybe BRL's forum, but he'd probably just make fun of you.

Thank you for the lesson on how our Supermods should do their jobs. Your 3 months experience here obviously outweighs their decades and they should seek your guidance from here on for all moderation matters.

Dexter is the only television series I watch. I was left speechless after the final episode of season 4. Cant wait for season VI but will have to wait a year. I dont get Showtime so have to rent them.

When he bought his galpal a knife as a gift I said "What kind of idiot buys his girlfriend a knife for a present?" My son add wife both pointed at me.

It was a Case Copperlock with Mother of Pearl handles. A very nice knife.

Additionally, there are plenty of threads of people wanting to know the knife a criminal used in a movie, so I'm not buying that it's somehow not ok because Dexter is a serial killer. As the above poster mentioned the title could have been worded better, but let's not pretend that this crosses a line that wanting to know the machete the bad guy in a Stallone film used to cut a woman's head off doesn't. I'm not calling out or judging Esav, I'm just responding to some of the rationalization being posted in this thread. This is simply a misunderstanding and should be left at that.

And often people do post in those threads about negative images of knife use.
It happens quite often.

The title of the thread left something to be desired. Based on that alone, I'd have suggested prac tac too. Cut the mods some slack, they do a good job and aren't paid to clean up messes people leave behind. Tact and respect should not be optional here.

I just realized your name "Dark Passenger" is what Dexter calls his inner voice. Just an observation.

plus infinity

everyone take a deep breath........then exhale slowly :)

I am honestly not sure what the big deal about the title is. Myself along with other members of TheRPF forum have IDed his main Kill Tools in the show.

This is my set here.

I posted "Teenager" in the title because I needed help IDing the knives used in his teenage set. It was just a scene in the show where they flashback to Dexter as a Teenager. Maybe changing the thread title to "Dexter Knife ID HELP" is a better idea?

Here's the knives I needed help identifying.

If this is still not ok, just delete the thread entirely. No problem.

I look forward to being on these forums for a while too. I am just getting into Spyderco knives. Would love to get a Carbon Fiber Harpy PE. Currently looking to buy a nice Endura4.

Thanks!

I like dexter. I also appreciate greatly the hard work that mods do to keep the place functional. I say let the mods do their work without any BS from us ordinary members. I have been in a lot of forums with lousy mods. We even had a big forum go almost butt up because one mod went rogue and started deleting accounts without the knowledge of the other mods. Having great mods is a big factor in a forum's success. That should put things in perspective here.

also, the 2 al mar hawks and the case copperlock and texas toothpick when he's buying lumen a knife - what is the bigger knife to the right of the copperlock?
