DF at Scrapyard

I purchased one ....I am Freak'n stoked ! I am going to get a tandum stacked leather sheath made to house the DF & DM....

That was over quick! And I even knew it was coming, and I still missed it. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting a DFLE when I had the chance. We may not see another run of these, methinks...

Congrats on your scores gais!
There were DM avail as well as the Dog Fathers?

Hmmm, not sure if want. Almost sorry I missed it...

Hi guys. Please don't post any numbers from your invoice. The Busse family would prefer that didn't happen. Thanks.

Out of general curiosity, what would be the consequence of people posting their order number?

I don't know if there'd be any actual consequences, but if they ask you not to it, then it's only courteous not to. As an example of why it's not a good idea to post that kind of information, if somebody has your invoice number and knows your email address, it's a simple matter to send an email using a programming API that appears to be from you, and they could request to cancel your order.

It's definitely not that I'd go against the wishes of Busse, I was just being curious about the ramifications of having that info out there. Thanks for letting me know! ;)

I'm guessing with sufficient amount of invoice numbers one could guess rough figure of knives being sold. Which in return might indicate the production numbers for the run. Just a guess.

Or have it shipped somewhere else....

There are, unfortunately, those who would stoop to that...then the comapny would be out a knife. Not good for biniz....

Only if you knew the "contents" of each invoice....

True dat, true dat.....what if I had 8 knives in my invoice?:D

I thought it was a great run, I hope I got mine. Patti made mention at the Yard that some of the orders may have exceeded the stock(correct me if I am wrong) and she will be sending out notifications to those who scored.

You know it almost felt like a Ganzaa:confused:

I got in at 11:30 last night from work, much too late to score --- missed them the first time too :grumpy:

congrats to those who did, that's an incredible price for a knife that big and capable

As far as I know there were no limits on how many you could order. I just got one and I know a few got more on behalf of others, but I really hope there weren't any that baught 10 just to resale and make a profit.

I also edited out my invoice #. If they don't like it I won't do it. Just didn't know.
