DF at Scrapyard

Maybe setting limits of how many ordered per day would be best. Like no more than 3 of the same kind at any one time.

But the other issue here that there cannot be that many people buying them so they just aren't making enough, and maybe they should be pumping up the volume.

these are beater knives, so they should be flooding the market with these to keep resale prices low.

The great thing is that when a DF gets to $300 you might as well jump up to INFI as there is no real benefit to having this since you can get an FBM thse days for near $400. At $200 and under the DF is a great deal, but once you go to $250 to $300 you have to start thinking if it actually worth it.

It's definitely not that I'd go against the wishes of Busse, I was just being curious about the ramifications of having that info out there. Thanks for letting me know! ;)

I'm not sure if they are concerned with the #s perse, but the last time Dan sold out the CGYKs very quickly, and there was a flood of people posting their numbers on the scrap yard forum. IMO it was more a bandwidth issue than the actual numbers.

But I could be wrong :-)

I missed the DFLE and the YKCG (kinda sage?) I wanted one of each but was days late.

Oh well... I've really got enough res-c as it stands. It's hard to pass up the bargains that go through the yard, though.

I am glad I pick-up the DF....it will be a user & going to have a sheath made to house the DF & DM both CG models...freak'n Sweet !
