Ever since I joined BF Ive always admired Don Hansons work. I got on his list a while back and after pestering him about various slip joint patterns over the years he made me this 3.5 closed English jack, which came in the mail today.
I would love to get one of Dons more elaborate damascus slip joints some day, but this time I wanted a small folder to carry. This has Dons W2 steel on the blade and spring and 410 stainless on the bolsters and pins. The scales are bark elephant ivory.
Don nailed the fit and finish, the blade is spot on in all three positions (closed, half stop, open) and it has a great edge. Thanks Don!
