I have been going through my materials and have taken out some that I have an over abundance of or no longer use. All material has a light coating of rust due to the damp weather here in Oregon.

First let's start with the good stuff.

W-2 from Don Hansen III. All round (the god stuff:thumbup:) Asking $6.50/lb.
44 Pieces of 1.25" Dia cut 11" long 3.5lbs per stick

4 bundles (still like Don sent them to me) 6 bars each of 1.75" Dia also cut 11" long. 44lbs per bundle.

1 bundle (left) of 2.125" Dia 4 bars cut 11" long. 44lbs also 1 Bundle pieces 2.625dia cut 7" long 22 lbs, will break bundles apart and sell individual sticks.

4.5" Diameter 52100, Asking $2/lb 2-10.5lb 2-11lb and 1-12lb block These make great bench blocks or can be cut up to forge down to knife stock. I have made a few knives out of this material and is a great knife steel.

2.125" dia L-6 rounds. I have 100lbs and can cut to size. Asking $2/lb also

Wrought Iron Anchor Chain links. This is triple puddle and very clean. Very little silica slag and thus figure. Each weigh 9lbs with the cast iron lug. Asking $3/lb with the lug. If you want the lug removed I will cut the links and remove them for free. If you need these worked down to rough guard size I will do it for $20 per link. This will be to a nominal size and rough forged thickness. Like 1x.375 or 1.25x 1.5x.

I also have about 300lbs of O-1. This is larger bock and plate. It can either be used for fixtures or to forge down into smaller thickness. Asking $2/lb. I do not have any pictures of this material. Here is a list of the sizes available. I will cut to weight to fit into a appropriate flat rate box.

1x1.625x43.75.................. 1x1.625x57.875

1x1.625x19.5 ................... 1x2x30.125

.75x2.125x45.................... .75x1x41.5

,625x1x35......................... .625x3.375x31.25

.625x4.75x12.125 .............. .625x6x11.125

I will split the shipping cost on all orders of steel. I ship in very secure flat rate boxes.

Payments via Paypal preferred. Check or MO will also be accepted with 1 week wait for clearance.
If you are paying with Paypal please make sure I have your email so I can invoice you.

I will weigh each order before sending invoice. As always you have 7 days to let me know if you are not satisfied. Return the items in same condition and I will refund your $$.

Thank you

I'll take 5 pieces of the 1.25"dia x 11"L round w-2.
Please send PayPal invoice to the e-mail address in my sig line.

Fred. I will weigh and send an invoice if you want but they are coming out at 17.5lbs for 5 sticks.

my email address is my paypal. Sigline.

If you work down the chain link how many pieces of guard stock would you expect to get? Sorry I haven't yet done any forging so I'm not sure what to expect.
I have been looking for some wrought iron guard material for a bowie I have planned.

Thanks,
Travis

I'd like 4 bars of the 1.25"x11" W2 and 3 of the wrought iron links with the lugs removed.
Thanks,
Kevin

Tlr, the number of guards will depend greatly on type if guard and if you forge it to shape or grind. You will probably get 6-8 big bowie type guards. Many more hunter type. I know when I forged out my last one it was over 3 feet long, .3thick and 1" wide.

Paypal account e-mail is pkda(at)verizon(dot)net

I will begin mailing these orders on Monday. I have to build boxes to prevent loss. Thanks for all the response.

I will to a quick inventory and post what I have remaining. Stickytoes you will have first call at remaining 1.25" rounds.

Ok. Those who ordered the 1.25" specifically it has been set aside. Stickytoes, unfortunately there is only one stick of the 1.25" remaining.

For those who are looking at the larger bars shaking their heads wondering how to work them down by hand. I have been cutting off 1 to 2 inch blocks. I can then forge a large blade. A 2" section will forge a nice bowie blade. I like the larger stock for some reason. Guess because I can get whatever size blade up to and beyond a 40" sword of I were so inclined.
