diablo sawzall blade heat treating

I've got a. Diablo bi-metal sawzall blade about 1/16 thick.

The teeth are supposed to be rc62.

Anyone have any ideas how to heat treat one of these.

the TEETH are one metal which is heat treatable, the rest of it is not. Throw it out and buy some real steel

+1 :thumbup:, the heat treatable part of those are usually HSS (High Speed Steel).

It is usable. Just not for knife blades. I repurposed a couple of mine into broaches for doing hidden tang handles. I just ground off metal from the spine to thin it out. Works great!
