I picked up an Imperial Diamond Edge stockman last year, and was pleased when it arrived. Thought it was a very nice Imperial. Both in quality and appearance. I found a brochure on Larry's website, and have been able to find all of the folders without having to fork out big $$$.

So far, I've not been able to find either of the fixed blades. I did see an old Imperial Diamond Edge display case once, in an old hardware store, and need to get back and see if I can talk the owner out of it. Anyway, here is a picture of the folders.

If you see these on Ebay, they are nice knives, although the plastic they use must not be quite as good as what they used with Old Timers and Uncle Henry's. They are prone to center pin cracks.

There are some other DE Imperials, though, that have very low quality shell handles.

Hal, so these would be 1960 to ?; and what does a typical tang stampnig look like ? from this and other posts, your knife collection must be pretty impressive, especially if all displayed at once. could you do a pic. of that ?

Best I can tell, I think these were made last mid 60's to early 70's.

Maybe someday on a big picture. Id have to take so many out of the boxes it would be quite a project, but some day when it cools off in the fall, I plan to take some pictures outside.
