Diamond Lansky stones

I bought a diamond Lansky set on Ebay and the stones are pretty polished in places. They work but is there any way to get a newer surface on them. Did a search and only found info on regular stone resurfacing. Thanks for any help. Don

Diamond stones are just plates coated with diamond and once the coating wears the abrasive is gone. They could be just heavily loaded, so a cleaning might help, but if the coating has been worn off then there is little you can do.
