Diamondback tactical SOF assult pack

I just ordered my LA pack also, when they get here I will do a side by side comparison of the two and update it throughout the summer. For some it may be ideal, for me I would be pissed if I were 15 miles from the truck and something ripped out and I had to carry the pack or lost something important because I was to cheap to buy good gear. That being said maybe the pack will surprise me and it may be a cheaper alternative. When I buy gear or any tools I dont mind spending more to know what I buy wont fail me when I need it.

This will be pretty interesting to see how your comparison goes since your going to actually using them. Can't wait!
 
Ok the LA police gear pack showed up and it is not as horrible as I thought it might be. The fabric looks alright as do the zippers and stiching. The belt is not padded and extremely cheap but probably functional and the plastic buckles also feel very cheap and look like they could go pretty easy. When the other pack gets here I will take pictures side by side and let everyone know what I think of it. On initial appearance and feel though for someone who just wants a pack to take from the house the the truck and back the LA pack might work.

I'm very interested in your observations, especially the weights of the packs.
 
in for reviews, i just picked up the LAPG pack as well going to compare it to my kelty
