Like many other readers of this forum and of Field & Stream, I have been very interested in these knives for hunting not collecting. But they are expensive for a knife that is going to get used. So how many of you have been waiting to find a used one? That hasn’t worked so well, has it? Here is some information that I found out today when I called their customer service that made me put in an order. First, they let me substitute the leather sheath for the kydex one. If you order it online, you have to put it that you are requesting the leather sheath in the notes on the order form. Or just do it the easy way and call. Second, they gave me healthy, 25%, military discount. BAM! I ordered a Surge with the sure grip (low cost) handles. I just couldn’t hold out any longer.
