I have recently began my fascination with Spyderco knives and especially the odd balls. I won a Blue Spyderco Salsa about 2 weeks ago. It was listed as NEW, with box. When the knife arrives, on time, I open it to find a box that is too small for the Salsa and also has "SALSA" written on a stamp and taped to the bar code with the original name marked out by sharpie. When I open the box it only contains the knife, not even a baggy or foam. The knife seems decent at first look until you begin to inspect it. The edges are worn all around and you can see under the blue to the steel. The blade is in good shape but still not new. The clip has wear showing and is clearly not new along with a tattered box. Also, with 90% of ebay sellers..."Dick" ships the brand 'new' knife in just a bubble padded envelope thus even if new guaranteeing a bent box, of course why would he care with the tatter he sent.

Buyer's beware of him on Ebay and anywhere else he may be. He seems to sell knives consistently. Thanks for listening.

sorry to hear that brother. File a claim with Ebay and paypal, they are good at getting your money back and it will stop him from doing this in the future. I know the hassle.

Yeah, I opened the case, returned the item and then yesterday he opened a case about the return and said he shouldn't have to return payment...I woke up to a full refund from ebay, not the seller, so I'm assuming they are going after him for payment. Funny thing is, I googled his name and it shows up that he is an Attorney in Florida and his address given is to his business.

glad to hear it man. if he is an attorney, he probably has no real set of ethics or morals anyways.
