Did a little "plinking" yesterday

Got together with "Jbarbaresi" from here on blade forums yesterday. He just moved to my area. Army reassigned him to this area and he and his family are literally one street over (small world) Anyway we did a little "plinking" :D
mini14, 10-22, ppk/s, G19, .22 target

His son actually took his first shots too (pretty cool) let him post those pics though.

Was great. Weather was 65 and sunny. Little windy but ... :D

Couple, three for sale (lol)

Great place to live. Exactly 8 miles from Lynchburg or Bedford (dead center). But still country. Zoned AG. Great weather (gonna be 70 Friday ! and we're going to do some more shooting !) J is Setting up a range and stuff. Big fun here on the farm !

Serious - good stuff.

Moose - you said you're into .45's - J got a Sweet Kimber (may have to bribe him to get that bad boy out) lol
 
Looks like a good time! I just picked up an XD40 and have feening like a crack head to get some more range time :D

Ya know....that 1,000 rd case of .40S&W on Ammotogo is looking pretty tempting ;)
 
What a blast! I love nothing more than throwing some lead down range!! 9/10 of the voices in my head told me I should've stayed home and cleaned my guns today! :cool:
 
Excellent I'm picking up another Ruger 10/22 today.....I need to get out and slaughter some jacks
 
I tell ya, between the two of us, this would be the WRONG neighborhood for a burglur ... they'd definitely die of lead poisoning - ain't talkin' about the water either :D

actually i'm just holding it for my dad since he now lives in NY and hasn't gotten permission from the state to have any guns in his house :jerkit: if you are out at walmart between now and friday pick up some .45 and you can have at it. my wife was a little upset i didn't let you shooter her xd9sc so we'll bring that one out too.

edit: start saving some soda bottles, milk jugs, oj containers, etc...

10 22 is a great little gun. Plink all day for $12.

Plus, can do gazillion mods to it too. Not sure why, but I've seen some crazy stuff. Banana clips, folding stocks, tripods. Just crazy.

Although mine decided to let the barrel come a little loose half way through. Few misfires. No worries.

flexxx get a good 'old' 10/22 not sure if I'd want a new one ....

.22 is one of my favorite rounds, probably because they're so fun/cheap to shoot.. i have a handful of .22 handguns and rifles even have the same model gun Reagon was shot with..

I like revolver .22's sometimes paired up with bolt action.. fun fun.. fun..

a little model 17 for your taste-buds..

i have my dad's old MarkI, learned to shoot on that. good times.

these dayz, they high standard is my .22 of choice - mid 80s gun, but i can hit stuff at 25 and even 50 meters that i couldn't dream of hitting wit ha 9mm or .40. accuracy counts :)

recently acquired a savage .22 bolt action - we're talking dime sized groups at 50 yds without a lot of effort. awesome. 100 yds coming soon this Spring.

for all out fun though, a 50 round magazine on a 522 was a thing of beauty this last Summer. gotta try that again :)
