4,000 just around just around the corner. Seems like alot but how many do you think we can have here by this time next year? 8,000 10,000 seems pretty incredible does't it?

Its great.the bladeforums t-shirt has on it-Over 2,000 members- we've doubled that.a while back I started a thread to the effect that we should have a contest to pick the date we hit 5,000 members.I picked 12/27-my yoiungest kids birthday.

Considering all the millions of knife aficionados out there, I'm surprised it's only 4000. There must be a publicity gap here.

I wonder how many users their servers can handle.

Congratulations David! Every 1,000 new members is something to be proud of, however I tend to agree with Mr. Epstein's comments, that some serious advertising in this niche market of knives could double the membership in 90 days. Of course I say this not knowing the financial situation or available budget of Bladeforums to implement such a campaign. I've donated some cash and encourage others to do the same. If we're lucky a portion of the money will go towards promotion.

Come on members! If you can buy a knife you can donate a few bucks to the BF PR campaign!

Here's to 8,000 in 2000!
