Did anyone else start out hating how Spyderco's look?

While I feel that hate is a strong word, I have always hated spyderco knives design, and to this day I still hate spyderco design. I would never make a claim that they are good knives. They just seem like the Glock of the knife world, Ugly as hell but still goes bang when you need it to no matter how you treat it. Spyderco's seem highly revered in the knife world and seems to have earned it.

However as good "functionally" as they may be, I could never buy one due to their looks.

I bought a Spyderco when they first came out....I didn't like they way they looked, but knew they were a quality product. I own many Spydercos, but truly hate some of the designs...some are just too odd for my tastes. My favorite: The Dragonfly.

I tried a spyderco, ended up trading it. Got another via trade, ended up trading that one, lol. So, I'm not a fan of the mid-to-lower end ones. I always thought all spydies looked the same and that bugged me. Funny thing is, now I'm trying to trade 2 of my BM'S for 1 spyderco blade. Something about the frame locks I just can't get over. They'really just gorgeous blades and I want one......NOW!! :D
