btw thank you for the complimentary cleaning (air blast) I dunno what you did - but my commander is the smoothest I have ever felt an emerson - or any knife :)

(me goes in search for more g10 and snowmen in the house before waiting period becomes too long)

Well gee... doesn't my head feel like it's swelling :D

Just finished See2's 98 just now. And I gotta admit I really like working on the 98 G-10 even better than the more recent. Not sure but it seems not just thicker, but also a touch harder. Little easier to really perfect the texture of the etched... or as sniperboy says... carved surface (snipe... really like your use of that word :D specially since my first love is and always will be stone carving!)

This time I thought to snap a pic before I repacked this bad boy (God I love gettin to "play" with other people's knives :D :D :D Now I'm really kicking myself for not grabbin a 98 when I had the chance... have loved the ones I've etched)

I've had two knives done and they are being returned by Priority mail at this time. Sometimes this slow mail just kills you!

Anyway, I'll post photos as soon as the knives arrive. Unfortunately, my new camera is in the shop, and I've got to fall back on a old digital, rather than the new one.

Heh heh. In the mail I sent back to you, I asked if you'd played with the knife, since 98s are just worlds better than the newer ones. Question answered! Glad you had fun with it! :D

I received my two knives back from "Bobby Lee Swagger" today and have got to tell you that Sniperboy didn't exaggerate at all his acolades toward the work that Marya does on these bad boys!

Check these out and remember that the photos were taken with a old ragged wigged out camera.

I wouldn't hesitate at all to have additional work done by Marya!

I have to say... I am feeling truly honored at this moment. I have before me one sweet honey of a Commander with blue liners... Owned by none other than our good friend Derek at EKI! Damn I feel special! :D :D :D

I love doing this sort of work and am thrilled that y'all love the results. Oh how it does make me feel good. I've got several beauts to do this weekend so stay tuned next week for more reviews :D
 
Any updates on being able to do this with the Micata found on customs?

I would love to have a Skull on my CQC6.
