Did anyone notice?

A micrometer should give you an idea where the flat ends and the convex rolls off.

I'd either have to see an hdr image of the bevel or hold it in real life. from my experiences with the ak47's, the half saber blended convex can be really, really hard to see or feel under a heavy smooth powder coat.

a good caliper should be able to tell you where the drop off starts, even as little as .010 is technically a machined path. Do you find that the thickness right behind the edge to be different between the two? by thickening the last set of paths, if the thicknexx/curvature was corrected across the entire convex it would make it that much harder to tell where the bevel started.

It would be cool to get the two blades mentioned stripped of coating and then re-photographed from many angles. (Nope, I will not volunteer my only version of the knife in arctic white for the comparison).
