Did Buck do a convex grind?

I was looking at my 102 this afternoon, and I swear it looks just like the grind on my BRK&T. So I pulled out another older Buck knife (.112.) and it looks the same.


Would there be a change that Buck put a convex grind on their 440C steel?

yes . buck went from a simi hollow to a full hollow grind but i dont know which year...
then they changed the edge grind profile in 2000..
