Did Busse ever done collaboration knives?

dan did the clip point bowie that was very nice looking with stacked leather handle, but I'm not sure if that was infi or not... that may just have been jerry showing off dan's personal work? I don't remember the exact details...

jerry's nephew did have one, kind of a satin jack variation with a sharp swag back and a fine clip point. had a nice leaf camo on it too.

then there was the 2 mike throurot knives, the piano keys and the custom infi blade shown above.

wasn't the NICK designed by progunner??? or was that a "I want something like this" and the crew designed it? the NICK was taken from his orignal custom order right, or am I just crazy???

wally hays did the custom wraps on the pure bred fighter series for a while...

there are ways to make it usable: example - "did busse ever done get that thar project up'n' goin'?". in essence, it would be "did busse ever finish getting that project up and going?"

Wally Hayes did the wraps on the Swamp Rat Rat Tail, not the Purebred fighter's.

I do not think SOG and Busse ever had a collaboration. I think SOG had a knife that looked like a Busse.

I don't think someone asking for a specific customs with specs qualifies as a collaboration either.
 
It smells a little cheesy but it's all from Wauseon and pertinent to the thread.


I don't know that I would call them collaborations so much as "finish work." Either way, I ended up with one of the Dog Skinners and it is AWESOME!

I would say the same, wich is why i brought up the NICK specifically. if a customer designs a knife that becomes a production run, thats a form of outsourcing/collaberation right?

By the way bro! I have finally gotten over the "sheathmakers block" on the project!!!!!!!!!! I was so stuck on that one it was making me crazy!

Now were rocking and rolling!
