Took the opportunity this Labor day weekend to put my new TOPS Wolf Pax 2 to use in processing some wood for a campfire. The ax performed superb taking apart newly fallen pine and elm, and it felt great in the hand. After heavy use, only 2 small dings developed in the edge, which is still sharp otherwise. However, after inspecting my blade close I noticed some markings that I found somewhat concerning....

Are these cracks?

*because I highlighted your text it got seperated, but the original is not...

Marks in the coating.....

My advice would be to continue to add more of those!
