Yeah, I considered that. I'm a n00b to owning CRKs, but I've been a member here since 2006. I was a little concerned because I said l'd take it and sent money pretty quickly after the thread was posted. Once people think something is no longer available, my guess is that there's less focus on the details from prospective buyers since they can't buy it. I k ow I don't pay much attention to a sales thread once I realize the knife is taken.
 
I looked over all your pics as best I could and having owned several Sebenzas over the years I will say everything looks legit to me. I think you're gonna be a happy new Sebenza owner!

I would run it(photo's) by CRK not only to be sure, but to see what you might have(such as dealer exclusive, special order) . You are pretty well covered if a problem does come up-Seller seems cooperative + PP.
 
When I ordered my Left Handed CCG "We The People", I was told that Damascus was not offered on the CCG's. I ordered a Damascus blade for it.

Well, for some strange reason, I have at least 5 CGGs with Damascus. Here are two more that are small 21's, so maybe it's only the annual editions, and I'm sure there are exceptions to that?

I'm thinking it's something they recently changed. The original bday card on mine was Oct. 30, 2017. Got the knife in May of 18.
It's evident there were some CCG's with Damascus, I've seen a couple and thought it wouldn't be an issue getting one. This was the first year the Halloween Sebenza was offered in Damascus, still waiting on that one.
 
UPDATE: Response from CRK CS is that they're pretty confident it's legit. In retrospect, asking them should've been the first thing to try. But I haven't had great experience with customer service from most companies up to this point. So top notch first experience with CS.

It's also worth noting that the seller has been patient with me and understanding as I second guessed the authenticity of his knife.

They have great customer service and always seem willing to help within their ability.
