Did lefties do something to knife manufacturers?

I am a righty at everthing except Fire arms. As my older brothers are lefties and are who taught me to shoot. Yea i,m wierd..it,s there fault.

It may not be their fault. Depends which eye is dominant.

I am left handed except for some reason can't use scissors with my left hand, feels so awkward. But when it comes to knives I use my left hand!

Having grown up in a right handed world, I learned to be about 70% or so ambidextrous. Growing up, there were no lefty knives, and by the time the axis and arc locks came out, I was used to using one hand opening folders righty. If I were 20 years younger, a left handed knife would be more appealing, but I'm set in my ways now.

Right front pocket:

Folder
Wallet
Car key

Left front pocket:

Phone.

I shoot long guns lefty, pistols either hand. I'm slightly more accurate shooting one handed with the left. Either hand, I'm actually better one handed than with both. Due to an extremely rare eye condition, I can choose which eye is dominant and always have both eyes open when shooting.

You would need to look for some "left handed scissors". No they are not like the proverbial left handed monkey wrench apprentices are sometimes sent to find. :D A google search for left handed scissors give over 600K hits.

Two major differences between L and R scissors -

1 - The "top" blades of the 2 types are on different sides of the pivot so that when making a cut, the natural flow of the hand and fingers compressing the handles forces the inner cutting edges of the blades together so that the cut is smoother and the edges are working together. When cutting with the "wrong" hand, whether is a lefty using a righty or vice versa, the cutting motion pushes the cutting edges slightly apart making for a ragged cut.

2 - The inside bevels of the finger holes on scissor handles are slightly angled so that the fingers and thumb fit better with respect to the cutting motions of the hand in reason 1.
