Did Mistwalker already post these?

When ESEE first blew up, there was a huge rise in the number of reported breakages, but the reason that number was larger was because there were so many more out there than there had been previously.

the esee ones i've seen so far were used as throwing knives though like that broken bk-2...or deliberately snapped in half by the user to get a new one because they weren't happy with their modding.

doesn't matter, i won't stop recommending these knives to friends...if i can't convince them to buy a $10 machete first :D

$10 machetes rock. Loves me some Tramontina:D

According to Ethan, that was the first broken BK4 he can remember.

That 4 break looks like a problem with the metal stock. The way it broke doesn't match with a normal force break, in my experience.
A break like that more often than not from what I have seen is a problem with the steel from before the knife process even started.

I went and whammed my bk4 through the same wood with no problem. That wood was tough but not so much that the bk4 should have had any problems imo .

The BK9 that broke last month was a Camillus. Ethan had said that at the end Camillus had QC issues.
