Did Paul Bos left his equipment in CA?

Mr. Bos is so gifted, I thought all he needed was eye of newt, mare's sweat, and some mystic incantations.

But if the recipe is the same, why wouldn't the results be the same, too. Or are you saying that Paul Bos is incapable of accurately documenting his process?

I would bet it is documented... But would you want to share it with all of your competition?

Why would a expert in any trade do that if he is independent?
This goes for anything. I eat too much chinese food. I can go to one place and have great food and not so great at another. My favorite place, they post their ingredients...I can't duplicate it...ancient chinese secret.

For work, I have all kinds of cheat sheets that I use to get something done. I'm not giving those up. That's my code.

It's like a quote I use when I screw up at work (yes, even with my own doco, I can make mistakes)..."I know what I am doing, I'm just not very good at it". Perhaps this is true in the world of heat treating?
 
i will tell you that Paul Bos and Mick Strider and Duane Dwyer
are all long time friends, with that being the case is not such a
suprise that this is the case at all.

you can watch me make chille and wright down
what i use and how i did it and
you will still take 2ed place in a cook off to mine! :D
so no mater what mick and duane do>
it jest wont oh heil make that CANNOT ;) be the same as >>>

Mine is great and not covered in hot sauce where ya need to put your butt in one of those rings Darryl uses at work!!!
Not saying your's is masking flavor with hot sauce/spices...but mine is good. So good, I bet Wendy's wishes they had my recipe.

Actually, it's just ok. But I couldn't resist a double dawg dare ya!!!! (and pokin' fun at our Darryl ;))

Being the person in charge of Bucks relocation I can tell you Paul Sally and all of bucks equipment and pauls equipment made it here safely, the Strider reference is most likely in reference to a heat treat company in San Diego that paul worked at or had part ownership many moons ago I think the striders are having their knives done there. I will let Paul know and he will post in the morning
