I know but I would rather buy knives made by US workers. I have to buy way to many things made over seas I have no choice on.

Taiwan isn't China though. The models from Taiwan are all using US made materials and are some of the best quality folders Spyderco has ever released.

Please provide some proof, until you do I'm calling horse hockey. I'd love to see hard evidence of this. The facility where the knives are assembled is a high tech plant, not some back street alley with puddles, and stray cats and dogs running around weaving their way through drunks and piles of garbage.

No, read up on the difference between China and Taiwan. One claims sovereignty over the other but Taiwan acts as a separate country altogether along with comparatively superior labor conditions and much higher wages.
