Did you buy Alot of knives in 2008..?

3 knives so far in 2008:)
1) CV CASE soddie JR
2) Cattaraugus 225 Q
3) A RR spike Knife (Butches forge:thumbup:)
for a grand total of...
$116 bucks
and i enjoyed all 116 guilt ridden dollars of it:D
compared to some of ya i been a good boy:D
should have my wife read this thread

I got a pile of Spydercos, a few Emersons and CRKs, a couple of Bussies, an Al Mar or two, a BM 32 and a couple custom makers blades still to arrive.

Still got a few more I want before the years out too :p:thumbup:
 
well lets see here, i got an alias 1, lrg griptilian, case cv trapper, sak farmer, spyderco native, northwoods scagel, buck 119, and an enzo. not bad for my first collection year :D and still got atleast 1-2 more for this year that i want.
 
oh man too many for sure (not as many as I want\would like) should be around 20-30 or so , don't know how much €€€ but quite a few...

New to the hobby, so far 5 knives for less then $300. Expecting a $500 bonus check from work, most will go toward a few, new toys.
 
Hi Jos, I have a small "Le Camarguais with horn handle and I think it is a superb gentlemen type knife. What do you think of yours? (it seems to me that it's a bigger model)
 
I've been buying less knives, but they are more expensive. My average knife might have cost $90-$140 in '07. The last 3 knives I got range from $325-$540.
 
I've been taking it easy this year, probably less than seventy...probably, not certainly.;)
 
Funny thing, I joined BF.com in March 08, and my knife collection has quadrupled .... hmmm....
 
About 20 this year. Some I did not have to pay for, others were given to me as amazingly kind gifts, and most were folders this year.
 
I only bought a dozen or so but the combined value is probably $4k or so, which makes it a pretty big year for me. ;)

I like 'em. As you can see in the pic I've got a big one and a small one. The fit & finish are not fantastic, the point was too thick on the small one, but overall nice folders.

uh, no , not me, nope.

I think the last two months alone i have bought a whole wack of Customs, a whole wack of Productions and Sprint runs.......
put in lots of hours trucking, and i dont eat out or go to movies at all so i can justify it.

I bought my first sebenza, five or so 110's - two are stag custom shop knives I got on ebay, two 112's and several santako's. Maybe more - I lose track and don't keep records.

In Dec. I am going on a road trip with a stop in Post Falls and will be ordering myself something special for my birthday.

What is it about late summer and fall for Me? I will go for 6 months with out a purchase and buy just one new knife, and before 60 days go by I have acquired 5 more. It's not like I need them...wait....yes I do. I can't help myself.
 
Of my 4-dozen, I spent that on my ZT 0500 only ;-)
