Did you get a Buck for Christmas? Tell us about it.

Yes I got 3! :D I've been wanting a 112 for a while because the 110 was to big for my hands and blade length was over legal limit here and Santa brought me one. I also got that 2 pack special wally world was selling in the tin. It had a 301 and 307 in it. Great Christmas!

To make my 112 even cooler is that its a 2006 model and that's the year I graduated. :)

I got a yellow Comfortcraft 309. Well, I got one for myself -- I guess I wasn't good enough this year to be given one (on the other hand - that's pretty cheap for the fun of not having to be good all the time). First of these new style ones I've had - very nice. Totally solid - no wobble or movement at all on either blade. Nice snap; nice firm but comfortable pull - could open it all day without overstressing your nails - even when wet. Deep enough nail nicks to get your nail into properly. Blade spines fall inline with the springs when open, just like they should - no canting upward at weird angles. Small enough to fit the watchpocket of my jeans just fine. No brass on this knife either - I like that. The new shield is classy too. It's sharpened up and in my pocket now.

One thing I noticed that I haven't seen mentioned -- it really looks to me like this has integral bolsters and liners. I cannot see or feel any separating line anywhere. It would make a lot of sense to forge these all in one go.

Hmmm, are you sure of those numbers? The only two packs I saw had the 38x series knives, not the 301, plus the 307 hasn't been made in several years.

I didn't even notice that Dwight. I had to go get my 301 and look at it, and its the same way. There are absolutely no visible lines between the bolsters and liners:thumbup: This knife just even cooler :D One more plus for durability

338, ComfortCraft was what I was trying to think of . Thanks, Zero . DM

I feel a little better now David. I've heard the ComfortCraft terminology before :D

338, Your welcome . Dave, I bought one of those tin sets too and when I read the models posted here I thought, was there another offering ? The set I purchased held, (I'm going by memory as I've already given that gift) the 372 and 374 . I hope I'm close .
Whitey, Welcome . Your custom 110 sounds like a handsome knife . Could you tell us more about it ? Thanks . DM

Oh heck I'm to young to be second guessing my memory. :D I'll check when I get back home I'm at work now. I do know I got a 112 for sure. :D Its in my pocket now. Yes its in my pocket because I'm security and knives are a no no :( so I hide it in one of my pockets on my BDU pants.

You probably shouldn't be admitting that.
