Did you give any knives for Christmas?

tried to get my bro-in-law a spydie meekrat but ended up getting him a kershaw onion chive, he loves it!!!!!

Got my father a Camillus celluloid scaled lockback from AG Russell. He's very hard to buy knives for, but he seems to be enjoying it. It took a very nice edge.
 
I'm going to give my Cousin-in-law a knife kit from Kovals when I see him this weekend. I also bought a piece of blue/black G10 for the handle scales. He's a tinkerer, so he should enjoy putting it together.

I gave a Ka-Bar Black Tanto 02-1245 together with some sharpening stuff. Fällkniven AB has a 50% sale on Ka-Bars, bringing them close to US prices...

Dennis,it is a Taylor brand Volkswagon folder mfg'd. in 1981.I looked for one for several years and asked a couple of weeks ago on the wanted to buy section of this Forum.A couple of Fellow Formites suggested e-bay so I did locate one there.Maybe it will be here for Orthodox Christmas which I believe is Jan. 7th.tom.:confused:
 
I gave my brothers and sister some of my knives that I no longer use or carry. These were in addition to the other gifts, of course. My older brother got a Titanium bladed dive knife which I got on sale and never needed. My younger brother got a Titanium handled Kershaw Hawk which I flame anodized the Ti slabs on over a Bunsen burner. Nice colors! My second younger brother got a CRKT Kiss folder. My third younger brother got a used Spyderco Harpy with G-10 handles, and my baby sister (20) got my little Buck Ti handled Rainbow folder.
