Did you see the Leatherman ARC Talos?

Looking for anyone else who got sucked in to buying the New Talos color on the Leatherman ARC. Anyone else?
I know SMKW and Leatherman have them in stock as of now.

I still haven't purchased the regular ARC! 😆. Maybe, someday. In the mean time I removed the scissors from my LM P2 and replaced them with the saw from a P4. It makes for a nice compact MT for yard work.

Too bad they couldn't add or swap out a tool in order to make the new addition more than just a color, it'd further entice people into buying it, maybe an uncoated magnacut blade...

I would love to see a Leatherman with an OTF blade on one side, and a flashlight on the other. If only there was an option to custom build your own :)
Yeah, that would be neat but probably a little out of the ordinary! :D

I like the talos bronze color but I like the plain stainless Arc also. Im happy with the Arc I have and really dont need another one . I’ll save my money for other needs.

This is where I'm at with it. Leatherman trying to make their Arcs collectible is something I can pass on.
Totally get it. I really like them myself which is why I don't mind having several but I know its not a collectors knife :D

I completely understand your point of view, trust me. I've got like fifteen Spyderco Delicas for more or less the same reason.

I own an original Arc, and would buy more, but if I'm being 100% honest, I've got several other Leathermans plus a few other MTs from Vic and Gerber, so I'm well covered on that front.

What they need is to take a standard multitool, add a damasteel blade to it and charge 400USD/EU for it :)

I gotta say I don't love the Talos color scheme. It's fine and if it had been the first thing they offered I would have bought it. But the black and steel is more my speed. Either way, one is enough for me.

Looks (to me) more like they're trying to broaden its appeal to people who prefer outdoorsy/military colors, or who want less of an industrial design vibe, rather than make it seem collectible.

I can see the appeal to those who serve in desert environments, but its just a color, ans at the end of the day, wont make the final difference
