Did you see the Leatherman ARC Talos?

I read an interview with one of their engineers recently and he described the Arc as their "halo tool". It's everything they want in a flagship. It's everything I want out of this size multitool, too. I don't see how they could really "Alpha" it... G10 scale inserts and big scissors?

If they were going to do other Arc-based multitools, I would be seriously tempted by a Surge-sized version, and I would love to see an Arc style upgrade to the T4 and/or K4. And for Pete's sake give us back the Squirt, those little pliers were surprisingly handy.

If they upsized an ARC like a surge, the only thing Ide love to see is a 1/4” bit driver instead of a flat bit.

Maybe do like SOG does and integrate it into the plier head when the tool is folded?

I do think a full size driver would be cool, but the bit driver extension works quite well, if a full size bit is what you need. Maybe integrating a holder for the extension would work?

I like how the backs of the Arc plier jaws are designed to lay flat and be used as an impact surface when they're folded. Hitting stuff is fun. But in practice I barely ever wind up using it like that.

The driver extension is really handy and converts into a 1/4 bit. I keep it in my pocket along with my ARC all the time.
