Did Zero Tolerance ever put a lock bar insert on the zt 0560?

I have a ZT 0560bw that is obviously a later production model since it has the lock bar insert, but I can't seem to locate a 0560 with one on the secondary market. Did ZT actually start making them with the insert on later production or did production cease on that model before?

Only the 0560BW had the steel lock bar insert in the second generation.

0560, 0560BLK and 0560CBCF never had the steel lock bar insert.

I guess I'll stop looking for one then, lol.

How bad is lockbar stick on the titanium only ones? Figure the odds of having issues is slim at best.

Not bad but you may still need to go through the sharpie or graphite on the lock face treatment depending on how bad it is.

My 0561 has no stick at all. I actually like the way it sounds better than my 0560BW with the steel interface. Noticeably light too with the milled out Ti handle on the 0561.

My 0561 from Spring 2013 did have some lock stick but it wasn't bad. The detent is not the strongest so the flipper action is not as good as the current crop of ZTs.

I just took the picture below of my two 560s and one 560BW.

The one on the top has a screw for the insert. The other two do not. I've also looked on the inside using a loupe and saw no evidence of a lockbar on either of the two. I do think the one with the insert is one that I sent in for warranty work and it came back with the insert.

I wish they did. Sent 2 in. The 560cbcf was trashed and I got credit because blade had a crack by stud and send the blade and lock bar are faulty. I can get the lockbar to disengage by pushing the blade in, like a slip joint. The lock bar collapses and allows the blade to close. I sent it in also and they sent it back. They roughed up the surface area where lockbar meets blade, that worked for about three days but it's doing it again. Really bummed cause I liked the 560s. Oh well the 452 I got is pretty nice. I still give ZT A+ for customer service but just bummed. I wonder if I called back to see if they would change the frame off the 560cbcf and put it on the regular 560- while they're at it change the scales. Loved that LScf

I have a 560 w/ a serial in the 12,000's and it has a lockbar insert. My 561 (3196) does not. My 560bw (3296) also has an insert.

My 561 had slight lock stick early on but it went away with use.

My 0561 had pretty bad lock stick so I sent it in for warranty and requested they put a steel lock bar insert and they obliged.

My early 0560 had terrible lock stick. I sent it in and got the lockside replaced. Still no insert, but no lock stick either.
