I've used the 337DC (also called a gator belts) which are good for finish grinding after heat treating. They require "re-dressing" to keep even fresh grit exposed. I use a the diamond dressing stone like this (https://www.homedepot.com/p/POWERTE...gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CMGR_L7Zrd0CFRDDwAod0TEN9Q

I have also used the 307EA belts and they have too much splice bump for me. They are probably better on a contact wheel for finishing hollow grinds.

I haven't used the 953FA's but would love to hear if anyone has. I've been tempted to try them out because they are ceramic and might last longer?

Ceramic 953 trizact was a complete disappointment for me. Regular gators gave me a nicer finish and lasted longer.

Matt you want the trizact gators. As long as you dont catch a 90 degree corner they seem to last forever
